Robert Lince Kindergarten, Selah, WA
A series of nine fabricated aluminum boxes are stacked to form a totemic sculpture marking the entrance to the school. Fruit crates signify the bountiful harvest grown and processed in the Yakima Valley. Names of various fruits and different colors are presented in both Spanish and English reflecting the dual language mission of Lince Kindergarten.

The sculpture stands as an iconic marker at the school's entrance and serves as a unique language lesson
Note the unique wood-grain powder-coat by Artisan Finishing Systems of Marysville, WA and the bold graphics by Foley Sign Co. of Seattle.
In keeping with the bilingual theme of the artwork, the identifying plaque features text in both English and Spanish.
